baked green beans

July 16, 2013 //

As we were cooking these green beans again last night (with fresh beans from the farmers’ market Saturday), we realized we haven’t shared them on the blog–and they’re our favorite!

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 F.
  2. Snap the ends off the beans and place them spread out on a jelly roll pan.
  3. Sprinkle with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and spices. (We’ve been using Trader Joe’s Everyday Seasoning that includes sea salt, mustard seeds, black peppercorns, coriander, onion, garlic, paprika and chili peppers, but sometimes we just use salt and pepper or salt and pepper and garlic powder–try out different ones and see what you like best.)
  4. Bake at 450 for 10-15 minutes until crispy.
  5. Enjoy!
