For Halloween this year, we decided to be Toy Story characters… shocking, we know. Albert quickly staked claim to Woody leaving Buzz and Jessie for Brandon and savannah. Albert was SO excited to put on his costume–he was jumping up and down when we got it out of his bin. They all donned their costumes and prepared for [savannah’s first real!] trick-or-treat-ers. The little princesses and monsters started around 6:15 and we had our last straggler at 9:15. All together, we had about 230-ish treaters and six pieces of candy remained. Albert did really well–he enjoyed sitting in the yard greeting the costumed for a while and then went inside to eat dinner and nap on the couch. There were five or six little Buzzes who were SO excited to see Brandon was dressed as Buzz, too. Several of the little kids shouted “It’s Woody!” when they saw Albert and then realized savannah was dressed as Jessie and though we were super cute. We didn’t see any other Woodys or Jessies.
