savannah + brandon + albert the doggie

things we see, eat and do

herbs

On one of our Ikea runs a couple of months ago, savannah spotted these super fun little pots and exclaimed that they must be the home for her herbs this year. We waited a while to get them until it was closer to herb planting time (and we didn’t have so much unboxing to do). They didn’t have holes in the bottom, but Brandon took care of that and now they’re home to seven green little plants that we’re excited to grow. Fresh herbs taste so good and are so much cheaper than buying cut ones at the store because you can cut them a serving at a time and they grow more quickly. savannah may have gotten a little carried away with taking the photos of them… enjoy!

And here they are in their new home–our windowsill box in the kitchen. So cheerful.
