things we see, eat and do

july visitors

August 4, 2014 //

July was such a busy, fun-filled month!

Our first visitors were Chris and Kelsey. They were here for the Fourth of July, so we hung out in our red, white and blue and watched fireworks over the Starlight Bowl at one end of our street and over the Hollywood Bowl at the other end of our street. Awesome! Albert, the usual scaredy-cat, didn’t even notice them–he just wondered why we were standing still.

We went to Disneyland, but were having such a great time we forgot to take photos!

We went to the beach, too–Albert’s favorite. (We promise Chris and Kelsey were with us–but apparently Albert is the only one we ever makes the photos.)

Next, Dennis came to visit. We went to Griffith Observatory and saw the city from a whole new view.

We went to the zoo and had a nice dinner, but apparently we forget to take photos! Then Germany won the World Cup. Yay!

Albert and Savannah were super excited in their jerseys : )

Our final visitors for July were Dave and Rebekah. We visited the flower market, shopped, ate at Portos several times, went to Disneyland, had some nice dinners and enjoyed the company. It was cool that Rebekah was back exactly a year later to celebrate Albert’s one year gotcha-versary!
